do you do this through your whole pregnancy or is it just something in the first trimester? If I don't eat the second I wake up it's all over in terms of getting sick.
I was hoping to take H out for breakfast this morning but there was no way I could make it
Re: eating as soon as you wake up
Eating first thing never really helped me. I had m/s regardless. I swear the only thing that helped were Gardetto's. I think it was the garlic in them. I would often eat a pack at work at like 8 am. Klassy.
Have you tried keeping some crackers w/ PB in a baggie on your nightstand and having a few before you even get out of bed at all?
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
i still have to make a piece of pb/jelly on toast as soon as I wake up or I am done for. In the beginning, I still got sick regardless, but now that the m/s is more controlled, this really works for me. I can then pick up bagel on the way to work and wait until I get there to eat it.
I often feel crappier on the weekends because I sleep in and eat that toast later, that is how much I need it.
yup oversleeping is the devil. I wake up heaving
Oh well, breakfast out is overrated anyway.
Especially today- it will be overcrowded because of Father's day!
I'm actually the opposite. I find that on the weekends, even though I wake up from the nausea, I am able to go back to sleep and sleep it off. I still wake up nauseous, but not nearly as bad when my alarm goes off at 6 am. Maybe it's work related

for me, as long as i have a glass of water as soon as I wake up, at least now, it's not as bad.
In the beginning, I had no choice. Had to eat the second I woke up.
"Smudge's Story - How to Grow a Dandelion" will return soon!
The Dandelion Archive
"If dandelions were hard to grow, they would be most welcome on any lawn."
I stopped eating something first thing in the morning around 16 weeks - my m/s let up a good bit that week so I felt more confident it not needing something.
However, this past week I have been right back to needing something before my feet hit the ground.
