I've been looking at amazon, toysrus, sam's club, etc, but it's impossible to tell what will work as a tree swing and what needs to be on a swingset.
This is for a large tree at the IL's cottage. There's usually just two kids (BIL's gf's 3yo and our 4yo), but there was already fighting over the swing last summer. I don't think I can take the "it's my turn" or "her turn was longer" whining again this summer, especially once we have a newborn too.
Re: Where to buy a tire swing or double swing for a tree?
Find an old tire & tie some rope around it silly ;-)
DH wants to get one of those new plastic tires... The old tire swing that we took down a couple years ago was falling apart. I think he wants to avoid that. Although, that one was probably 20 some years old.

Funny enough I would think rubber will last way longer than plastic. Sorry I have no advice.
