And I think I might be a little hormonal yet, because I am seriously trying not to cry! There is a hole in the diaphragm in front of the pump. Not to be confused with the little diaphragm things in the actual bottles that I have several spares of. Oh no, the part that had to break was a part that can not be repaired according to Medela so it is now basically junk. I do have some "goop" stuff on it to see if it will seal and be useable again.
And its not as terrible as it sounds because I do have an old pump from a friend at home, but it doesn't have all of the conveniences and storage as this one did...
And on another note, I called my insurance company to see if they covered breastpumps and they only covered manual ones... nice!
Re: Crap!! My pump broke!
Call Medela and see what they can do for you. My Ameda pump broke and I called and they overnighted me a new one no questions asked! I've heard Medela's customer service is as good.
Sorry you're dealing with that! I know how panicked I felt!

The pump wasn't working as well, and they sent me a new one.
The diaphragms aren't a separate part with Medela?

I didn't need any proof of purchase because it was bought as a gift.
