Does your DH leave random things around the house?

I have been up for 45 minutes and I have found a few random things around the house.

On the bottom step, his brown and black belt. I have no idea why both of them are there. He must not be wearing a belt today at work.

On the kitchen counter, his socks he wore yesterday while cutting the grass. The laundry room is literally 5 steps away.

On the endtable in the living room is a can of WD-40 - ???

I sometimes wonder about him...

  • All. The. F-ing. Time.

Makes me crazy. What's worse is when he takes stuff and puts it way up on top of things to keep the kids away from it. Since this is often the kids' toys, I get to listen as they stand there screaming and pointing at the toys they want.

  • Yep, but it is usually something to do with school.  I find random folders, papers, books, etc everywhere.  I finally told him that I am making a pile of his crap and he can go through it.  If it isn't in order, oh well!

OH NO, would my husband ever get away with putting any type of dirty laundry in the kitchen.  That is just gross.

My husband is actually really good about putting his stuff where it belongs because then he knows where it is when he needs it.  Plus if I find it where it doesn't belong it might just disappear.  Stick out tongue

  • Yes, all the time.  Mostly shoes...in every room of the house.  And we have a dog that likes to chew shoes so you would think he would learn.

I also have a power drill and an electric razor on my kitchen counter at the moment. Not sure why.

  • All the damn time.... It makes me crazy!

The wadded up receipts on the nightstand and the thousands of pens he comes home with all the time that either (A) have no cap or (B) have been chewed up on the ends drive me crazy.  I just finally started throwing things away.

Sometimes I feel like I have to stay one step behind him.  I truly believe he is worse than the child in my house!  At least when I tell her to pick things up she knows where everything goes and doesn't leave much of anything lying around the house!

  • My DH does the same thing.  It makes me nuts.
  • Always.  I can track his movements by the trail of coffee cups.  Of course, none of them quite make it into the dishwasher.
