I've taken a few ovulation kit tests over the last few months and they were always negative. Well, I took one today and I think it's positive but I can't find the instructions anywhere....it was an Accu-Clear ovulation kit...I still have the box, my theory is they put a positive test as the picture on the cover of the box. So, hence my stupid question - does anyone agree? I've googled it and now my DH is googling it and we can't find any instructions. My test looks like the box test except that the first line is lighter than the second - maybe that's a neg?! but I'll stay positive and assume yes unless anyone thinks otherwise. Just checking before I call my RE and let them know. YAY so excited, I was beginning to think I didn't ovulate.
Re: Accu-clear Ovulation Kit - Help
Hi
It looks like you're new here so welcome. What sort of IF issues are you dealing with?
If it's the same as other OPKs that show two lines, you need to wait for the test line to be as dark as the control line. My OPKs used to start out the way you're describing, and then the test line would get darker in the next couple of days until it was positive.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Thanks for the info, the line was definitely light so I'll wait until it gets darker to call my doc. I've been diagnosed with PCOS and my left tube is blocked. I'm supposed to have a lap on Wednesday, but I'm not sure if I can if I'm ovulating. More postponements. I've been lurking around for awhile, but haven't been brave enough to post until recently...the advice on here is better than any I've received but I'm still figuring out all the lingo, etc.
Thanks again
I don't have PCOS, but I have heard that PCOS can affect OPK results. I don't see any reason why you couldn't have your lap even if you are ovulating though. I would call the doctor and ask. Good luck
