Sleigh Crib Woes...

Let me me begin by saying...I love my Lo's crib to pieces. 

However- as I install the sound machine thingy- which has to go on the short sides and still barely works b/c of the curves, and then the bumper- oh, the bumper....I know many of you don't believe b/c of SIDS- and I don't disagree, I was just going to tie as tight as possible and remove if I fel uncomfortable.  Well since the sleigh crib is deeper and whatnot- the ties aren't lining up and creating HAVOC!!!

    That is frustrating.  I love how sleigh cribs look in the pictures though!

    You could always make your own bumper. One of my friends made her curtains and bumper for her nursery/sleigh bed and it turned out adorable.

    I know what a pain it was to get the bumper on our relatively traditional crib (although it's iron, not wood).  I can't even imagine trying to wrestle one onto a sleigh crib. 

    I think it's a cruel joke that we have to figure all this stuff out while we're hormonal and pg!!  Assembling the exersaucer was all sorts of fun too.

    I used to love sleigh cribs.  I always wanted one.....until I put one together for a friend of ours.  It was murder.  after that i was like.  I still like it in theory, but um no to having one. LOL
