It really depends on your doc. Some start at 36/37, and some wont do one until you are closer to your edd. But then again, some docs wont do one at all unless you request it.
I would ask your OB how they work when it comes to internals. But it's possible . Gl

Every practice does it differently. At mine, they don't usually check you until 38 weeks unless they are getting feedback from you that would cause them to want to check you.
My doctor did one at 36w4d because she was also doing the GBS test. But it was optional and not something that she needed to do. I didn't get one when I saw the doctor today.
I guess every doc is different..... Im at 35 weeks and was at the doctor last week. She asked me to come back in again this week to do one. I just keep thinking the more thorough she is the better
