ERGO carrier question

Is there supposed to be a way to cinch up the bottom strap that goes around your waist?  I am unable to cinch mine up so it's snug around my waist, when I do, it just goes back to the biggest size since there is no way to stop the strap from sliding back.  I'm wondering if mine is missing a piece or something or if it's not threaded right.  I've emailed ergo, but I wanted to see if anyone on here knows.  Thanks.

    Weird... mine doesn't loosen after I've tightened it around my waist - do you have one of the newer ones? It should have an elastic band that you stick the buckle through so that it helps keep the strap in place (or from moving/falling off should it come unbuckled for some strange reason!)

    ditto on the elastic band. this keeps the belt from getting any looser or tighter.

    Sounds like it is threaded wrong.  It should be just like a backpack strap.
