You know, it's weird because before I was pregnant, I always strongly hoped for a girl. My mom and I are really close, and I just want to pass that relationship on to the next generation with my own daughter. However, now that I'm actually pregnant, my preference really has shifted to about 50/50 and I have a feeling it's a boy. And yes, we will be finding out!

Yes, we are definitely planning to find out the gender!
Before we were pregnant we were so strongly opposed to finding out, but now we see everything we need to buy and decorate, it's almost easier to find out. I am really into interior design so the thought of NOT decorating the baby's room until after he or she comes home is not something I will consider!
And I am hoping for a girl as there are 5 great grandsons on my moms side, and 2 grandsons on my husbands side. There needs to be a girl put into the mix! Husband wants a boy. Go figure!
I really just want a healthy baby. I would love either gender.
It would be semi-easier if it was a girl though simply because she would be born in the same season as her big sister and I could recycle all of the clothes that I've been holding onto for 2.5 years now. If it's a boy, I'll just have to do some clothes shopping (oh darn, right?).
With all that said, we're team green. We like to save the surprise for the very end.
With the first bfp I was hoping it was a girl. But this time I would gladly take either. I just want a happy, healthy baby. I'm not sure yet if we will find out the sex or not. Right now I'm just really trying to take things a day at a time.

I would be happy with either, I just want them to be healthy. I do not want to find out and DH does, but this is one thing he will not have a say with! We will have to see when that time comes if I change my mind.
Boys seem like they're easier to dress and deal with as teens, but I've always wanted a girl. I can't pick. Good thing someone else is choosing for me.
Definitely finding out. With DS I was Team Green for about 2 weeks until I thought about my personality. This time I need to know just as badly!!
I would love to have a girl someday. I don't know if this is our last baby or not, so I don't feel pressure about it. Just incredibly blessed to be adding to our family.
A possibility was born the day you were born and will live as long as you live.

Healthy baby, boy or girl... doesn't matter to me! I really would be happy with either but I was literally just thinking that its going to be a girl. No idea why. My best friend just gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday...maybe that's why.
edited to add: yes, we are going to find out!

Does anyone else find other people calling it a boy/girl? I've had several people accidentally call it 'him' or a boy, I wonder if this is a sign? Although, both DH and I have twins in our family, so my mom keeps calling baby 'them'!

If I could pick we would be having twins, a boy and a girl! lol! But I do realise that is rediculous to hope for and would be more work than I could ever imagine, I can hear all the mom's with twins rolling their eyes at me right now:)
I originally hoped that it would be a girl but now that I am pregnant I have a feeling its going to be a boy. Either way, I do want to find out so that we can plan. That said, just last week a woman I know had a baby and they had been told it would be a girl...so they planned for that, they already had one daughter so they had all girl stuff already. Well, the baby arrived and surprise it was a boy!
We are already dying to find out what it's going to be.
I used to really want a boy and still kind of do. He is 100% for a boy, of course. lol. Most of my friends that are expecting or that have recently had a baby it's been a girl. Seeing them dress them all up and everything kinda makes me want a girl. When it comes down to it though, it really doesn't matter. We will love him/her regardless of what we wanted.
DH would love a little boy first, for me either will be just fine. I do think the girl clothing/items are SO much cuter but we plan to have a few children so hopefully we will luck out with one of each
first and foremost i will be perfectly overjoyed to have either. but when i was younger i used to dream about having 2 babies - a boy and then a girl so she would have an older brother to protect her. more than likely we will find out but i'm a little on the fence.

I have two boys, so I'm really hoping this one is a girl. I grew up with four brothers and there are only grandsons on both sides of the family, so a girl would be a very nice addition. Plus, we are my DH's families only chance for a girl. His siblings are done, and this baby will complete our family. That being said, I would still love this baby if it's a boy. We are going to be on Team Green with this pregnancy.
I could care less about the sex. I just want a healthy baby to take home! Before my losses, I was all about boys though. I would have given anything to have a boy. Now I'm willing to give anything for this one to be sticky
I married a ginger.

After DS was born, I kind of hoped we'd had a girl next so we could get to raise one of each. However, the more I've come to love having a son, I realized I would be over the moon if we had another boy. I would love for them to be friends and grow up together. My sister and I are so close, and I would love it if DS had that, too. However, I would still love having a girl, so I guess I'm 50/50 (even though I thought I'd be more like 80/20 for girl).
And no, we won't be finding out. We didn't find out with DS either.

Eh. People say this a lot, but my personal experience with having an older brother is that he just mercilessly picks on the younger sister.
Anyway, we both want a girl, but this baby will be loved and cherished regardless.
Re: Boy or girl?
I'm truely happy with either.
As soon as I got a BFP, I felt that it was a singleton and a boy. Time will tell if I'm right on the latter.
TTC #1 - May 2010 - IUI #3: BFP
TTC #2 - May 2012 -IUI #2: BFP
We won't be finding out what we're having, DH has always said he wanted it to be a surprise, and I don't really mind either way.
double post

Honestly this.

This exactly.
Do.not.care.
I used to and so did Hubs. As long as this baby is healthy and I am too, I don't give a flip if it has an innie or outie.
Honestly - either. We will definitley be finding out.

Either one...just healthy. DH is sure it's a boy. We won't be finding out until it's born. Team green!

Healthy is #1 on my list

We would be extremely happy with either!
And we will definitely be finding out! I cannot wait to buy pink or blue things...and, there's no way I could last 9 months waiting!
I honestly don't care, but I have a feeling that my LO is a DD.
ETA: We will be finding out the sex as soon as we can!
#1 I wanted a boy, got a girl. #2 wanted a girl, got a boy!
Now since I have one of each I'd be pleased with either, although I can't help but lean towards pink
My motherly instincts on gender have always been wrong so we'll see...
