What are/were your favorite NB dipes?

I think I need to beef up my newborn stash so I'm polling mamas to discover their favorite diapers for the newborn stage. I have some prefolds/covers, thirsties XS fitted and Kissaluvs 0's. Looking at some used NB mutts as well.

What are/were your favorites?

Thanks!

  • I only used pfs last time, and that didn't work so well, so this time I'm stocking up on nb fitteds.  I can recommend the Thirsties Duo cover, though, for pfs.  It was my favorite cover.  Sized Thirsties were good, too, but I like the longer life of the Duo.

  • We're still rocking the infant PFs! We used Bummis superbrite XS and Thirsties sized covers. My favorites were the Thirsties.  DD is on the smaller side, less than 14 lbs at 5 months, which is why we've gotten so much use out of them. She was 6.13 at birth.
  • Swaddlebees nb organic cotton velour fitteds were my favorite.  They are adorable and work really well, but they're also teeny-tiny so you won't get much wear out of them.  For more practical reasons I loved KL0's as well - they lasted longer and we rarely had leaks with them.

  • BG bamboo fitteds and proraps were my fav. Although they were the only NB fitteds or covers we tried, but I liked them better than the prefolds or AIOs. They take forever to dry though.
