WHY am I not getting as much when I pump???

I am in tears. Last night and tonight, when DH gives LO his evening bottle, I have only been able to pump 2.5-3 oz., when I normally pump 4.5-5. WHAT is going on??? I haven't done anything differently with his feedings during the day or with my diet or anything! And my b00bs have just felt empty. I haven't had that really full feeling the last couple of days. HELP!!!

    You might be coming down with something?  AF returning?  Particularly stressed?  Extra tired?  Drink tons of water.  Rest.  Relax.  Hope your supply returns!

    I was going to say Mother's Milk tea REALLY helped with my supply.  Also, keep hydrated.  AF might be coming (temporary drop in supply).  Fenugreek pills can work too.  Hang in there.

    All of this. I was shocked when AF showed 9 wks pp and again 29 days later. I'm feeling "regular" again. Now she's gone (again) and my supply seems to be coming back. I do pump less than DD eats so twice = 1 bottle. Also, with this heat I've had to almost double my usual water intake. Oh, and if you have a Medela pump, check the membranes and replace if needed.

    Thank you ladies for all of the good advice! I'm feeling a little better. I had spotting a little over a week ago, but return of AF yet, so maybe she's finally going to show her ugly face.

    I feel like I've been keeping well-hydrated, but I'll try to be better.

    About how frequently do you replace the membranes?

    I just replaced my membranes last week. I think it depends on how much/how long you pump. My understanding is if they are warped at all or look loose, you should replace them. Also, I spotted for 3 days before AF came, which is not normal for me...could be her messing with you.
