NT scan question

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I've never paid attention.

Is the NT scan with the dildo cam or on the belly?  Does it depend on how fluffy one is?  I have mine next Tuesday and I'm just curious on what to expect.

    Should be a belly one.  that was when mine switched over.

    My NT scan was on the belly. Check to see if they want a full bladder. Mine was full and they didn't want it to be.

    Belly for me, although they said it would be the dildo if they couldn't get the measurements easily.

    Mine started with the belly one, but she had to do the vag cam because baby was laying opposite of where she needed it to and she couldn't get the right photos/measurements. I had to push back my pap smear (oh darn) to my 16 week.

    The office I go to said they only do a belly u/s for the NT scan and I had to drink 16oz of water 30min before the appt. If they couldn't get the right measurements, they have you come back.

    I'm fluffy and mine was on the belly.  I only had a vag u/s @ 6w6d -- very first one.  When they used u/s to check on a hb at 9 weeks, I had a belly u/s too.

    Mine was belly. They did tell me sometimes its hard to use the belly one if the lady has a little more padding. I only used the dildo one at 8 weeks, but I think even then they switched to the belly one after a while.
