Talked to his neonatologist and he indicated, that without seeing him, he thinks that his issues in the past 2.5 months are "normal" at this phase due to the fact that he's no longer getting any immune system boost from my breastmilk.  These issues started when I stopped pumping and we started taking him out.

If he's gaining any weight we won't worry and hopefully he'll grow out of it soon.

If he's losing weight or not gaining at all, we'll meet with him about how to imrpove the situation and see if something is contributing to his seemingly chronic congestion and severe gagging.

    While that does make sense from a medical perspective, that's a really tough thing to say to a mommy who is living this heartache every day!  Hang in there, Kathy, and I really hope everything improves soon!!!

    Thanks ladies.  Only one puke today (just now) so far.  We're going to give him a couple of days to work himself out, and then head to the doctor if it gets worse.
