DS#2 is 16 months and I think we're kind of in limbo between 2 naps and 1. Just curious when your LO dropped the morning nap. [Poll]

He naps after lunch, usually around 12:30 or 1:00. He goes to bed around 7:00 or 7:30.

well before 12 months. It wasn't until around then that she started taking a consistent nap, and it has always been after lunch. Now she only takes a morning nap if she was up early and didn't get a lot of sleep the night before.

we are on day 3 of dropping the morning nap

too early for me to know if it'll stay consistent, but seems to be a 2hour nap around 1230pm and bed at 8

DS dropped his AM nap between 17 and 18 months (I voted 18 in your clicky poll). He now naps from 11:30 a.m. - 2/2:30 p.m. and goes to bed between around 8:30 p.m. He's up for the day between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m.

Dropped at 13 months. He sleeps from 8-6 and naps at 11:30.

Most days, she has 1 nap at daycare after lunch but on weekends she still does 2 usually.

At 12 months he dropped the AM nap. Once that happened we were able to be way flexible with his schedule. He eats lunch anytime from 12-2 and naps at some point for 2 hours in the afternoon depending on where we are or what we are doing. Mostly 2-4 is his nap and he goes to bed at 8pm-8am.

He actually dropped it earlier, around 10 months. He naps at around 2 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, then goes to bed at 8 and STTN until about 9, usually.

DD dropped her morning nap at around 7.5 months. She takes one nap from 11am until about 12:30 or 1. I miss the days of two naps and am jealous of some of you who got to have them so long!

DD dropped her afternoon nap around 17 months. Weird, huh? She gets up at 7:30 (although I'm sure she is awake before then), and is ready to go back to bed at 10:00. She gets up at noon and is up all day til bedtime (most days). And she is kinda whiny, but without napping so long, you'd think it would be a lot worse.

I voted for 12 months, but he dropped it around 10.5 months. We now take 1 nap from 12:30-3.

Dropped AM nap around 11-12 months. He naps around 1:30-3:30 and sleeps from 8pm to about 7:30am.

SS: 17 months and they're still taking 2 naps.

I think they are gradually moving toward one though; I'm guessing in 1-2 months they'll be ready to drop the morning nap. Will will probably be ready for Alex but I'll definitely try to keep them on the same schedule.

Starting around 6 weeks, DD was sleeping until 9 or 10am... so she always just took one nap a day from around noon-4. Now at 21 months it's rare for her to nap at all...
