After BC?

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but, how long did it take for your cycles to become normal after BC?  I know that it varies by person, and all the books I have read say that it can take months to years (scary!). I was on BC for almost 9 years and this is my first cycle off and I am on day 32. Did anyone else experience longer/shorter cycles? Did anyone skip that first month off BC and then have normal cycles after that? I'm really hoping my body evens itself out soon.

    I was on BC for 10 years.  I had 42-44 day cycles when I got off.  I was ovulating around day 28-30 (I started charting as soon as I got off the pill).  We got pregnant on cycle 3 after getting off the pill, so I don't know if they would have shortened up or not.    HTH!

    Personally my cycles were right around 30 days when I first got off and stayed that way, but the cycle we got pg would have been a 32 day cycle. I was on bc for 10 years.

    When I first quit taking BC my cycles stayed pretty normal and on a 28ish day range, although now over a year later I seem to be having a crazy cycle. Hopefully they become regular for you soon!

    The first one was 27 days, then it was 48, then 29, then 45...or something like that. Since then, almost all of them have been 31-33 days, so I guess it took about 5 cycles to get to a "normal" place. 

    And trust me...that 48 day cycle had 6 different HPTs with it. I was absolutely flipping out.

    My first cycle was 28 days and the second one was 49. I just went back on the pill though so I'm not any help.

    I am going through the same thing right now and I must say it's quite annoying.  I had been on the pill for just over 7 years.  I got off BC mid-April and today is day 58 of no period.  I haven't gotten one since I stopped.  Don't worry I'm not PG :)

    I had 32 day cycles after BCP. I was on it for 7 years I believe.

    This except for I had 2 normal cycles first.  Then they went crazy.

    I stopped BC at the end of March...first cycle was 21 days, then 33...i'm waiting for this one to end...but I"m hoping I'm just pregnant instead :)
