This may sound very odd, but I have a new worry to add to my list.
I had a nipple ring many years ago, however the holes never fully closed up. DH made a joke about milk squirting out the sides when I breastfeed and now I am kind of worried that this could happen / be a problem.
Does anyone have any experience/information about this? TIA!

No it won't be a problem. I asked once when getting a different piercing and they said your nipple basically has a bunch of little tiny 'straws' inside so it won't squirt out the side or anything and should be fine.
At least thats what I was told!
I've been worried about this as well.. except I've been extra worried because **cringe in pain warning** - my left got ripped out.. so um.. the left nip is partially ripped halfway through the middle.. (racing accident.. handlebar went up under chest plate and ripped through everything - crushed my ribcage.. so the nip rip wasn't even noticed until later..)
Thinking this might be a cause for concern when attempting to bf...
