Pregnant after a Loss

FYI, important thing to add to your hospital bag

I see a few people need to pack their bags:) The best thing I took was flip flops. Not to sound gross just being honest but....after I delivered I had a brand new pair of white slippers on and I went to the bathroom and as I was squatting to get onto the toilet blood dripped onto my slippers and they were done for the rest of the hospital stay. I packed flip flops also because I am a germ freak and took them to wear them in the shower and they were lift savers because if any blood dripped you just washed them off. I highly recommend taking flip flops instead of slippers! Then you can wear them when you are walking around and in the shower with no worries!

  • Good to know!  Thanks.

  • Definitely one of the items I used from my hospital bag! I also took some new fluffy white slipper socks to wear during labor. I had to trash them shortly after delivery because of a simmilar bathroom incident.

  • I hadn't even thought about that.  Note to self...don't pack nice comfy beige slippers, need new pair of cheap flip flops.
