more efficient or less interested?

my 4 1/2 mo old is either getting more efficient or more distracted and not eating as much.  she used to eat for 20 min-about 12 on one side and 8 on the other.  now she's pretty much down to 10 minutes or less but she also keeps looking around and is very distracted.  she went 3 hours between feeds and took a good 1 hour nap so she doesn't seem like she's not getting enough.  anyone experience this?  thanks!

    My DD dropped back to about 10 minutes or less per feeding when she was about four months.  I remember worrying about this as well!  Your LO is probably just becoming more efficient. Smile

    I worry about the same thing when DD eats super fast.  She seems fine and is playing and happy afterwards.  I understand how you feel!

    I think they do become more efficient as they get older!

    Thanks!  I think she may be going through a transition to eating less frequently too-hopefully she'll drop the night feeding soon!
