I am watching, but only because DW loves all things Peter Pan.
Though I am hoping to be able to finagle a way to get her to allow me to watch the Thursday Night football game tonight. Maybe I will just change the channel and say baby made me do it??
I'm recording it! Anything is better than Carrie Underwood last year! And I do love Christopher Walken. I'll follow up with this thread at the end of the night, you guys can test it out for me and tell me if it is worthy of my time hahah
I love the super old movie version from like the 80s. Maybe the 70s? I fear this will not live up to that but at least alison Williams is actually an actress. Carrie Underwood was terrible in the sound of music last year.

The one with Mary Martin as Peter Pan? I had that on VHS!
Kathy Rigsby when we were kids!
Seriously, as soon as they started the Tender Shepherd song I was lost. A blubbering mess.
It's NOT a good idea to watch something you really want to watch in bed under the covers on a Thursday night! I fell asleep as they were flying to Neverland. I'm glad I taped it! I love all things musical.
I definitely think the actress playing Peter is much better than Carrie Underwood. The one playing Wendy not so much.
Just watched a snip it and turned it. Walken looked like he was gonna break a hip during the dance number.

YES. I couldn't remember her name when I posted. I watched it ALL THE TIME as a kid...we also had it on VHS haha :-)

Me too. I watched it so much I ruined the tape. I found it on DVD a few years ago and my step-sister got it for my b-day. I totally posted about this in the Bitch-Fest that I was so mad at my self for balwing (came out of no where) at the end when they start to sing tender shepard.
If you missed it last night I believe they will eventually put it out on DVD, but I woudl go with the Mary Martin version--so much better.
It looks so silly from the previews I've seen, but I guess it's supposed to be live, so I'd almost consider watching it just to see any flubs in real time
