Did anyone get induced on a Friday or weekend?

I have an appt on Friday AM, and I think the doc is going to schedule my induction due to high BP.  Surely he won't do it until Monday, right?  If you were induced on a Fri or a weekend, what were the circumstances?

    With Sammy I was induced on a THursday and delivered on Saturday (high BP).  What makes you think he wouldn't do it on a MOnday?

    I was induced Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I had PIH, severe swelling.

    I had an appt Fri am and went in that night for an induction.
    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.

    Why wouldn't do they do it on Friday or the weekend? I was induced early Saturday morning but it was an emergency situation.

    I went in on a Friday for my regular doctor's appt at 38 weeks and my BP was high so the Dr sent me over to L&D to be monitored for 24 hrs. BP didn't go down so we decided to induce. They started a Cytotec drip on Sunday night at 8 pm and then Pitocin at 8 am on Monday morning. DD was born at 2:51 am on Tuesday morning.  Good luck to you!

    I went to doc appointment on a Thursday and my fluids were too low so they induced me Friday morning and she was born via csection due to not dilating or her dropping at 9:01 pm Friday night........

    I was induced on a Friday and I was 40wks 5days, I got induced around 1pm that afternoon and delivered at 7:58pm that evening, good luck :)

    i was induced on a friday.  i was 40w1d, and i was high risk (3 seizures through duration of pregnancy) and bleeding.  i had a c/s sat. morning.

    I was induced on Saturday morning at 6 a.m. because that was the first available ;)  I delivered that evening.

    With DS#1, I was induced on a Friday. I went into my doctors appt -2 weeks before due date- and he was ready to induce due to some problems i had been having.

    Soooo..I walked over to the other side of the hospital and got induced at 9am. Andrew was here by 1:14pm the same day.

    I was induced on a Thursday evening due to PIH. I delivered on Friday evening (cs).

    I was induced with DD on a Saturday morning. No real reason other than it was past my due date and he was on call that weekend so we decided to get it done.
