Pampers Extra Protection v. Huggies Overnights

Anyone compared the two?  Are they that much more absorbent than daytime diapers?

From what I've seen, they're both only available in a size 4, but I think DS is ready to size up at least overnight since we've had a few leaks lately in his 3s.

    We have tried both and use Huggies Overnights.  For us, the Pampers Extra Protection were a complete joke - he soaked throught that, his onesie, and his pajamas.  Awful.  We've been using Huggies Overnights for about a year now, and most nights he doesn't leak through.  They come in size 5 - I always go up a size in overnight diapers, and that's what we use.  DS wears Pampers Cruisers in a 4 during the day.

    We used O/N Pampers forever, then they started leaking. We switched to Huggies O/N and haven't had a problem. You would probably be OK moving up to an O/N size 4.

    I don't have any experience with Pampers but we use Huggies Overnights, and have for over a year and a half now. We LOVE them. We have only had leaks 2 times since we've been using them and that's only because he drank alot before he went to bed. They are ten times more absorbant than daytime diapers and well worth the money, imo. They come in all sizes, ds is in size 6.

    I prefer to use Pampers Baby Dry during the day and Huggies overnights.  DD still soaked through the Pampers Extra Protection.

    We use both and I find they work equally well for the most part ...depending on how much DS drinks within the few hows before bedtime. I have had leaking issues with both on occasion on nights when DS drinks a ton before bed. I size up with both brands for nightime use. DS wears a size 4 during the day and 5 at night
