Enema?

has anyone tried this to induce labor? I was reading through my hypnobirthing book and they suggested it to induce labor - I am well aware that nothing will work unless your body is ready, but I am honestly thinking about giving it a try...

I have never had one myself. However, I've heard from family members that having an enema is not something you would ever willingly want to do. They make you feel absolutely horrible while also making it so that you basically can't leave the toilet bowl.

I wouldn't do it if I were you.

Yes, I posted this is a discouraged moment, thought twice and realized I was CRAZY for considering it. I love how the book described it as a "gentle method..."

I never heard about them starting labor but you can try. I had on in the hospital right before I had DD and I didn't think it was that bad. I may ask for another one.
