I feel like DS will never learn to crawl.
He plays on the floor on a big blanket that I lay down (our dog sheds and I could vacuum 3x a day but still not have the living room as clean as I'd need it to be for DS to have direct contact with it).
Instead of making any effort (it seems, at least) to MOVE to get toys out of his reach, he has figured out that he can just pull the blanket towards him. Ugh!
I guess investing in some of those foamy interlocking play mats might be in my future? Meh.
Re: Here's a crawling conundrum...
What a clever little guy!
I love that he's using little effort to get what he wants. Creative!
Right? I guess it's problem-solving, at least...
I think he invented the Lazy Susan in a past life

I totally understand how frustrating it can be. My LO flipped over by 4 months, so I thought crawling was going to come fast for him. At 6 months he started to army crawl...and its been a lot of army crawling! So, i felt like he would never crawl in a traditional way. People kept telling me babies can skip it altogether. But a few days ago he did it!! I was so happy. I know it truly shouldnt matter, because babies will develop at their own time. But, I was just so excited. It makes me feel like he has reached another milestone. I am sure he'll start crawling when you least expect it!
