Collin is finally rolling belly to back. I watched him get ::this:: close for two months. Then he finally did it while I was at work :0( Now it looks like we're done with tummy time cause as soon as you put him on his belly he's on his back.
Collin was baptized Sunday. It went well but it was super long, si he was hungry and tired by the time it was over. We didn't get many pics at the church because he was not having it.
First off Annabelle turned 8 months old yesterday. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I remember bringing home that little tiny baby and now she is sitting, pulling herself up into a sitting position. Before I know it should we be off to school.
Secondly, Annabelle hasn't been STTN this week. I'm not sure if it's the change of beds (not sure if you all know our sisuation but DH has been working nights in DC and we've been staying at my aunt's in AACo because she's been watching DD). We finally decided no more, I can't handle being away from home. So for the past three weeks she's sleep in a pnp at my aunts. For the past 4 days she's been sleeping in her crib, and she fights sleep and is waking at 4:30 for the day. Last night was complete hell. I blame it on my aunt for letting her sleep all day long and being held. We've talked about this and she's not going to hold her all day (but I'm not home, so I have no idea what she does). Okay mini vent there.

@Jen- I too cannot believe she is 8 months already!
Not much to update...I've let other people (including my friend one day and my MIL the other days) watch my child for the past week, which felt like a huge step for me. And really, let's face it, I had no choice, I had to go back to work and I should feel gracious for all this help. I just sometimes wish I could trade places. In my perfect world, I would work part time in the evenings, 3x/week so we would never need daycare. I am enjoying the adult socialization and my crazy kids at work keep me on my toes so the day flies by, but I feel like the novelty of coming back to work has worn off and reality has set in.
Yeah, that was more of an update about me than my child. Amelia is just thriving and is cute as ever! She recognizes faces readily now and bursts into big smiles....I love it!
I feel like LJ has changed so much over the past 2 weeks. He had some weight issues early on and now looks so much bigger to me everyday. He is laughing at us all the time and we've found a few ticklish spots.
He started rolling over from back to belly this week and I can't say I'm too excited for this milestone. He rolls himself over a few times a night and either startles himself awake and gets really upset or can't manage to get himself back over and then gets really upset. (He can roll from belly to back too, but doesn't seem to put them together yet.) So my sweet baby that was waking up once or twice a night is now waking up 5 or 6 times. Dislike. Mama is tiiiiiiiiiiiiired.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!

We went to visit family in Boston this weekend and Ada just didn't sleep, so when we got home yesterday she took two huge naps and went to bed at 9:30, which is super early for her. She can mostly sit on her own, and decided yesterday to show me she could roll. I knew she could because I found her in positions other than I left her in, but had never witnessed it.

Sean is getting really good at standing and now when he pulls himself up, he lets go with both hands! Ack! He is going to be walking before I know it....
He loves grilled chicken, watermelon, and blueberries too! And he has pretty much been consistently STTN for like 2 weeks straight. It only took 10 months! yeah!

he is such a cute little chunk!! I want to squeeze him!
Jen, how is Annabelle 8 months already?! I still have her birth announcement on the fridge and she is this teeny tiny thing!
last week and weekend sucked. John caught his third cold from daycare (at least that is who I'm blaming it on ), so of course his sleeping was crap, then I got the cold, now DH has it. Hearing him cough is awful, it's a deep chest cough, but he is still his typical happy self. I really need to update my siggy pic since he was about 3 months old in that one. He'll be 6 months in 2 weeks, and I can't believe that he's been with us for almost half a year. He loves being in his jumpers (he has one at our house and one at the IL's and my parents house) and anything with lights. He also has been trying to get his feet into his mouth the past few weeks and last night finally got his toes in there, he was very please with himself. He also seems to have finally learned how to get from his tummy to his back at night so at least he isn't waking up screaming about that anymore!

Meg- Love the new siggy picture.
I'm glad to hear that John's sleeping better at night.

LOVE the new siggy pic! I can't believe how big he is too- where is the time going???
they are all so big! Ella will turn 18 months tomorrow; she's chatting up a storm - I counted up her words last night - and she has about 8 words she says correctly - in addtion to dada, mama, etc.. She's also started imitating the cat howling/screeching - which is NOT FUN and we're experimenting w/ discipline, etc. No bad tantrums yet, but she is definitely more opinionted every day. We are in the midst of breaking the binky addiction and its going pretty well; I've pretty much just stopped discussing it/mentioning it at bedtime and most times she goes to bed fine w/o it.
Andrew will be 1 month on Friday - time flies! We go to the doctor in the morning because of mad diaper rash we have been battling with our cloth diapers so we get too see how much he weighs....last appointment at 3 weeks he was 8lbs 12oz. We are going on our first road trip to CT next week to visit his grandma!

What!?! When did that even happen??? I feel like you were right before me (and you kinda were but I'm in denial about Collin's impending 5 months)!
I have no idea. I still can't believe he's going to be five months. I remember when everyone was announcing they were pg.
