Hey, you have a StorkSak diaper bag, right? Is it the Emily? I think the actual bag is out of my price range (BOOOO because I love how it looks...though I just found it for $167AUD so it might be back in the running...), but the size is comparable to some others I'm looking at. Do you think it would be large enough to tote around crap for two kids? I typically carry...
8 diapers
travel sized wipes container
diaper disposal bags (or a wetbag when we swap to CDs)
4 outfits
4 bottles
2 receiving blankets (it's currently winter here, so I won't always be carrying these around)
2-4 burp cloths
2-4 bibs
2-4 pacis
a couple toys
snacks (in the future)
I currently carry a separate purse for myself, but would like to be able to chuck my keys, wallet and phone in the diaper bag as well. Oh, and maybe some lip gloss if I ever manage to go back to wearing makeup (right now I'm doing good if I manage to brush my hair lol).
Re: *** Malia, come in please :-) ***
Maybe... But do you really need 4 of everything? I would recommend 2 burp cloths, 2 pacis, 2 bibs and 2 change of clothes. Also, you might want to consider getting a seperate cooler for bottles. I don't carry bottles since I nurse on the go. Just my two cents!
FYI, here is what I carry IN MY STORKSAK BAG:
4 diapers
Zippered wet bag
Travel wips in the Skip Hop container
boogie wipes
paci wipes
Sunscreen
Baby lotion
Hand Sanitizer
Diaper rash cream
1 change clothes (onesie & pants, rolled up in one bottle pocket)
1 burp cloth
1 thin reciving blanket rolled up
1 nursing cover rolled up
Sun hat & sun glasses (in the same bottle pocket as clothes)
Luna bar & bottle of water for me (in the other bottle pocket)
Wallet, keys, cell phone, blackberry, camera
1 paci with paci leish, extra hair clips
3 toys (Sophie the Giraffe, Links on a teether, keys, crinkle doll)
Small travel bag (I use the free make-up bags from Clinique) filled with: bib, wash cloth, 2 spoons, puffs in ziploc, teething biscuit, 1 tub of applesause

Normally I only carry 2 of each of those things, but if we're doing a longer trip (for half of the day or a bit longer) to someplace, I like to carry extras - so I made the list as though that's what we were doing.
Good idea about a separate cooler for the bottles, I hadn't thought of that!
And thanks for the list! I think a bag this size would work.
Another idea is to keep a small "emergency" bag in the car filled with changes of clothes, burp cloths, blanket, diapers and wipes. If you are going to use the stroller, you can always throw the emergency kit in the stroller basket along with a carrier (or two?) and the cooler and put your diaper bag on the handle bars.
