  • Generous amount of baking soda in the water and have him sit in the water for at least 10 minutes. Works wonders for my DS!

Works like a charm every time!

  • Ditto, especially on the "generous" part.  Baking soda is so cheap and it helped DD2's yeasty diaper rash SO much (when on antibiotics).  I also switched from using Buttpaste to plain old A&D ointment instead.  It wipes off so easily--less irritation--and is an awesome barrier to wetness.

  • We do baking soda too.  And be sure to dry your LO's bum well before putting a diaper on.  We use a hairdryer on cool and use Lotrimin if it's yeast or Aquaphor if it's just yucky.
