  If you are a dyed in the wool Republican, McCain won.  If you're a dyed in the wool Democrat, Obama won.  If you're an independent, I think Obama came off better... Less weird "Get off my lawn, you kids!" kind of old guy anger, more easily digested sound bites.  Plus McCain had this weird line about how he wanted the government to buy up bad mortgages so people can refinance their homes based on their actual value which probably alienated a lot of fiscally conservative Independents.

  yeah, come to think of it, i did get pretty distracted. i said to DH at one point, i was bored and he got all mad and said "Issues are not sexy.  But they are important" LOL!

  Our economy is a ginormous cluster _fuck and the government still pulls this partisan bull_shit.  I wish they would be adults and focus on the mess instead of whose fault it is.
