s/o Becca's poop question - green poop?

Abby has been having lots of green poop for the last several days. I know it's normal for BF babies to have a range of poop colors, but I think it's weird that she is the only one with green (the other 2 have yellow). thoughts?

    As long as it is not mucousy or bloody, it's almost always fine.

    I have no idea, but ds has also had a lot of green poop the last few days.  Today it is finally back to yellow.  I was starting to get concerned because he hadn't had a yellow poop in two days.  Maybe she is reacting differently to something in your diet than the other two?  Or it's just the craziness of newborn poop.
    It took 3 1/2 long years, but we finally got our little miracle!

    We have green poop off and on, too.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    Green poop can be a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance.  Kellymom has really good info about it...

    Hi lnle! We get it from time to time too. My pedi says it just means the milk is digesting too quickly in the system. Make sure that they are staying on long enough to get enough hindmilk and it should take care of the green poop.

    I have had green poop, too.  And I have heard about the foremilk/hindmilk thing... but it is hard to know what happens since the babies both breastfeed and get bottles of pumped breast milk, so I don't know where the hindmilk ends up. 

    The green poop was in Asher's diaper, and he nurses more than bottle feeds, so I just have been keeping him on only one boob for the whole nurse to get him to empty it out.

    this is very interesting! when Abby nurses she'snot as good at getting enough milk out, so she always needs an ounce or two from a bottle afterwards. So maybe she's not getting enough hindmilk. And I don't know where the hindmilk ends up in the bottles either. hmm...
