and I'm worried he won't turn in time and my plans for a homebirth will be obliterated. He doesn't have a hell of a lot of room to turn around right now. I went on spinning babies, but I have no clue what to do. My brain is mush, thanks for that one Xavier
Xavier, make like the song and TURN,TURN,TURN!
Re: I can tell Xavier is still transverse
You definitely still have time for him to turn. He'll do it
I was told that walking stairs helps them turn. I know that some days it's easier said than done.
I live in a ranch style house we have no stairs! Hmmm, where to find stairs.......lol.

Baby girl is likely still breech! I haven't felt any major movement that would make me think she's flipped around. I don't feel any hard "rib kicks" to make me think that her feet are near my ribs. It's hard for me to tell what parts are where, even though I poke and prod myself daily trying to discover a head or a hiney.
Here's hoping that both of our LOs turn the way they are supposed to, and soon! I'm definitely going to ask the midwife if she can differentiate what parts are where on exam this Thursday. If she can't, I will get to see baby girl in two weeks at my repeat 3d/4d u/s.
Are you having any more u/s exams? When does he have to turn in order for your midwife to let you go through with a homebirth?
I have an appointment on Thursday, she said if he's still transverse,I'll have an u/s (I have one Friday, but that's just a for-funsies one.) after that, I'm not sure. I guess we'll talk about that on Thursday.
eek.

Sending you lots of turning thoughts!! My little girl didn't cooperate for the first "for-funsies" one, so we're going back. As soon as the tech put the probe on me that time, he said, "yep, she's breech." Even I can tell if her head is on the left side of the screen, she's in the wrong position.
Hope it works out for you!!
oh goodness, i hope he turns for you. it's so hard b/c we all want our labors to go how we want but unfortunately they don't always go as planned.
but you still have time don't let it get to you yet.
Do you have a birth/exercise ball? You can do gentle bounces on that and then do a lot of pelvic rocks on your hands and knees.
Turn, baby, turn!!!

DS was transverse for quite awhile and then was lodged way down in my pubic bone (which caused torticollis, a neck condition). I found out about some tips to help him move a bit too late, but it did help a bit!
