Could someone rrecommend a bra for someone with large breasts (I was measured at a 40G)? I want something that is comfotable and has some minimizing effects!
I love Bravado nursing bras. They are fantastic! They offer support for larger boobies and are super comfortable. They aren't overly expensive either. It doesn't push 'em up to draw attention to them (which I love because I've got some monstrous boobies.
I went and got fitted at Nordstrom last week. I am wearing a 38G in the Anita International nursing bra so I feel your pain. I got an underwire nursing bra there and I absolutely love it! I didn't notice how unsupportive other bras were until I got fitted with one with an underwire. My posture improved considerably and my back doesn't hurt so much.
The bravado bras are fine for night time and just lounging around at home, but they provided me with very little support and gave me the uni-boob look.
If you get fitted correctly, an underwire should not cause any problems with breastfeeding. My midwife told me this as well.....so don't shy away from an underwire. If you don't have a Nordstrom in your area, they are also available through Nordstrom's online store.
