Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Where do you buy LO socks?

I'm having the hardest time finding socks for DS! It's aggravating. He's a size 6 already, and all the baby socks I have are too small, and the only things I can find in the stores are either too small or too big.

Have you all found any socks??? Nothing fancy, just plain old socks!!!

  • I have a hard time finding socks too.  The ones that I got at walmart don't stay on.  The heel on them is funny.  It seems like they're not in the right spot.  I am curious too...

  • The Target Circo brand works the best for us. DS is a size 7 and wears a 2T sock.

  • DS is also a size 6 and he wears Baby Gap size 2-3 years. They fit great and he has a hard time pulling them off, which is an added bonus.

  • I just bought a 6-pack of nice white ankle socks for DS.  He is wearing a 6 or a 7 so they aren't small or babylike.  They were in the baby section but where big boy undies are and undershirts at Target.
  • We buy them at Target.
  • Old Navy's 2T Toddler-size socks are great. They still have the non-skid bottoms and are nice and tall. Plain colors. $1 pair; we have them in blue, black, brown, gray, red, and white.

They are practically identical to the Circo socks at Target, which are the same price (on sale) and colors. DS wears a size 7 or 8 shoe.

  • Stride Rite!
  • Sounds weird, but I have the best luck at Wal-mart ... love them! Ever since DS1 was around 11 months, the only socks I have found that stay on his feet are these white/gray ankle socks. They look similar to the ones below, but they aren't Hanes brand. I think they are actually the Faded Glory Wal-mart brand. We never had much luck with Old Navy, Target, etc. These pretty much work with whatever he is wearing too. He has a few pairs of dressier socks, but wears these or sandals without socks the rest of the time.

  • I love janie and jack and gymboree socks for dd. She has always had small feet and I feel like they stay on the best.
  • Kohls.  (I think it is sonoma brand.) They have different lengths & styles and they are thin enough that they don't have to be stuffed into  his shoes like socks from children's place i wish i'd never bought.  DS really has to tug at them to get them off.
  • The Childrens Place ones are good!

DS is a size 6 and wears Baby Hanes 2t-3t white 'athletic' ankle socks from Target - they're in the same aisle with onesies, etc, and they stay on great. He also has some similar ones from Old Navy, though I don't remember the size, probably 12-18mo or just 18mo.
