Car seat opinions - CP and LIP

Okay, DH and I are leaning towards a Snugride 35 at this point.  We really like the Chicco systems, but we don't want a true travel system yet, and I don't like how they aren't completely compatible (e.g. don't really snap in) to the stroller frames out there.  Like the Peg, but we've decided to be a little more economical than that.

So out of these Snugrides, which would you pick for a girl?  The cute but obviously girly one below (Option 1):

    I am a fan of gender neutral patterns for things like car seats and strollers.

    I would go gender neutral and just hand pink toys.

    I like the pink one... but if you have more kids and get a boy you will be stuck lol or you  could order a car seat cover later for a boy..

    JMPO: I like gender neutral colors so when you decide to have more children you can use the car seat again if you have a different gendered child. I like option 2 but if you want more color they do have different styles (as I am sure you know) Wink

    I know.  DH and I don't like a lot of the "gender neutral" patterns that are available.  I would almost prefer to have the grey then a lot of the other things out there.  Well, I would do beige, or other classic colors, but they are somewhat limited in the 35 Snugride.

    It's a shame the Chicco doesn't work well outside of it's own travel system, because I love the color that BRU has in the Chicco travel system.

    I'd also go gender neutral so you can use it with the next baby. We're doing the Chicco Keyfit 30 in fuego.

    I tend to go for neutral gender items (because we will not find out gender).  However, when everything is gender neutral.. it all starts looking blah...  I would have fun with the girly one if you don't have too many other girly things.
