My LO will be 3 weeks tomorrow. When we went in for his first appt after bringing him home, the doctor said we would know if he needed more as he would be still sucking hard after the bottle was gone (and might be rooting still) or that he would spit up if we gave him too much and "over-filled his tank" as he put it.
Right now LO is eatimg 2.5 to 3 ounces every 3 hours. I have seen other posts that say they are feeding their LO as much as 4 ounces at 3 weeks. I think he would take more if I offered him more but I don't want to over feed him. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
