For those with Angel Care Monitors

What, if anything did you put under the mattress to rest the sensor on?  I know that the directions say plywood but I was wondering if anyone did anything different that works.  I want to start putting DD in her crib for her daytime naps but want to get the sensor in place so I can get the settings right.

    We had a large buffet table in our basement we don't use.  DH took a shelf out and used that.  It is a piece of wood that is about 3 feet by 3 feet.  It works great!

    We used a scrap piece of thin plywood my dad had left over from some project but I would think anything along those lines would work.  He cut it to the size of the mattress and it works perfectly.
