DD had a fever with seemingly no other symptoms. I took her to pedi and when he looked in her mouth he diagnosed her with herpangina (a milder form of hand, foot & mouth disease). She is just miserable today and I understand the sores can really hurt.
If anyone had a LO with it, I'm wondering how long till they felt better and the fever went away. Also, how high did the fever get?
Thanks!
Re: Anyone deal with herpangina or hand, foot & mouth?
hey there!
I dont know alot about it but it is going around at our daycare and I am freaking out. I think the fever comes first and its generally high and then 2-3 days later the sores come. I thought LO had it, but her fever broke this weekend and other then a rash on her knees (she just started crawling) nothing yet. The sores can last up to 7-10 days... I think that is what makes it so miz.
Good Luck, I hope Mia feels better soon!
