I'm in the as comfortable as possible camp. While I won't wear sweats I always wear either jeans or as I am now cargo pants and tennis shoes. I see women wearing high heels and dresses. More power to them if they can do it, but I just can't imagine heels on a plane. Why would I do that to myself?
So, how do you dress when traveling?
Re: NBR: How do you dress for travel?
dude, ya never know what can happen when you travel...
any way I go, either plane or car, i dress for comfort. friggin sweatpants and a tank or t-shirt, with a hoodie if it's cold out.
screw the whole looking good thing for traveling.
The Nutty Life
Jeans or khakis and a nice shirt (which is what I wear when I am not at work). Never sweats, t-shirts, or sweat shirts. I only wear those items to bed. I always wear slip on shoes and bring a sweater.
I would dress up if I traveled for work. You never know when your plane might be delayed and you get stuck without your bag without the clothes you need for the event you are attending (meetings, etc.), so I opt for being prepared.
Oh, totally comfortable. Now that it's hot, I'm so glad I got a pair of khaki shorts from Motherhood.
My MIL is one of those high-heels on a plane chicks. But she travels like crazy for work, and a lot of times, she has a meeting as soon as she gets off the plane.

I am using in some kind of cute jogging suit.....way comfy. My MIL travels in heels for the 10 hour flight here. It kills me thinking about it.
If I am arriving and taking a car directly to a meeting, in business clothes.
If I am traveling for pleasure, either a dress and sandals or jeans and nice tee (like J Crew) and a scarf to use as a blanket/pillow.
