When does RLP start?

in 1st Trimester

I've had some twinges in the same spot today - low in my pelvis, probably half way between my belly button and right hip, and I'm wondering if it's RLP.  I don't remember having it this early last time.

I have my first u/s and appt on Monday so I'm going to bring it up then, but I was just wondering if it could be RLP.

    Hi I;m kinda new herem checked the Bump glossary but I'm not seeing it, do ou mind explained what RLP stands for?

    RLP = Round Ligament Pain.  It's "growing pains" of pregnancy.

    My doc said it commonly starts in the 2nd tri, but earlier for those who are on pregnancy #2 or more.

    I had it terrible in the 15-20 week range with my first pregnancy.  I know it may happen earlier in subsequent pregnancies, but I don't believe it really happens until your ligaments really begin to be strained - so I wouldn't expect it this time around until late first tri or early second . . .

    Shoot, I must be a weirdo. I've been getting RLP (or so says my doc when I describe the symptoms) since like week 9!

    It started a couple of days after I found out I was expecting....much sooner this time around that with DD#1!

    I did around 5 weeks.  In fact the only reason I tested (I had tested twice and gotten 2 BFNs) was because I felt the tug when I coughed.

    I agree that it seems to be earlier with #2.

    I had RLP starting at 6 weeks. When I sneeze, cough, or stretch and twist. Some women have tighter ligaments than others so they start stretching earlier.

    This is my 2nd pregnancy and I started feeling them around 6 weeks this time.

    Mine started around 8 weeks and were awful around 10-11 weeks.  Much better now (almost gone) week 12.  This is my first.

    Mine started at like week 8, but mostly only when I turned over in bed. Now its more often-including yesterday when I was lying on my back in bed and sneezed. It hurt so bad I yelled.
