    Well, my MIL called to tell me before I got home from work.  My daughter was all excited to show me.  You can pretty much say I still was not prepared to see that.

     

    My son was very excited to show me, though.  "COLOR!!!!  See?!?!"

    Oh my gosh! I just showed this post to DH and he asked if I need a lock for my Sharpie bag!

    Yes, I have a Sharpie bag. I'm some what addicted to them... I have the regular ones, the clickies, the really big ones, the minis and even the "jewel toned" ones. DH even got some personalized ones for our anniversary last year! After seeing you're picture, I'm convinced they must be better protected from DD!

    One of my co-workers had this happen, and her son said "what's the problem, mom, we can just paint the whole wall black!"  What a thinker!  lol.

    How ironic that I had a sharpie incident myself today. My DD went straight to the TV to color! Thanks to google I have learned that it can be taken off with toothpaste of all things!!

    Our walls almost always look like that, so at first I was like "so?" lol. But we buy DD the Crayola washable crayons, which come off with soap and water.

    Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? I got gentian violet out of my bathroom counter with one and the friend who suggested it said she got Sharpie off her dresser

    LOL I didn't even think about primer, so I've learned my lesson for next time.  It took 4 coats of paint to cover it.

    And Magic Eraser didn't work!  It just smeared it worse!
