Pregnant after a Loss

BH started today :(

I have had 3 each lasting at least a minute.  :(

I am going to have to call the OB tomorrow for him to at least notate them.  It is looking like I am going to absolutely take progesterone shots.  Here's top hoping insurance covers them.

Re: BH started today :(

  • How do you know if it is BH? Kaiser said that it would just be like a random spasm in one part of your belly but not all over. Is that right? Do they hurt? I have had on and off pain and some back pain on and off the past week. I figured I needed more water and I slept wrong or something.

  • I've been having BH since 14 weeks. I've never had any problems with them. Why are you so concerned? Do you know something I don't?
  • I've had BH since the beginning of 2nd tri, my MW has never been concerned.

Is this a concern due to PPROM?

  • The peri thinks I make weak amniotic sacs.  So, the BH against the amniotic sac are kinda like someone squeezing a water balloon over and over and over again until it bursts.

Their goal for this pregnancy was no uterine activity until labor in hopes that the sac with stay intact until delivery.  With ds they started at 12 weeks.  Since I hadn't had any when I went in last week, they were on the fence about p17, thinking maybe this time it would be different.

For me, I can physically see them when they happen.  The front part of my stomach gets hard and you can easily make out the shape of my uterus and it stays that way for a minute.  You can feel it, not pain at all, just discomfort and tightening and usually a few slow deep breaths and it's gone.
