DH was a really good sport and took me to see it today. 

I have to be honest...as a die-hard SATC fan, I was highly disappointed. I did not really like the whole story line, it was a little over the top, and pretty long.

Now, I'm happy I saw it...but it was nowhere near as good as the first (which I have easily watched 10x and literally cried and laughed through the whole thing).

Anyone else see it yet and NOT love it?

    I don't know if I am going to see it because I just don't think it can be good, KWIM? 

    The series was amazing and the first movie solidified the series and answered all of the hanging questions.

    This just seemed like a money making scheme :(

    JUST got back from it and I hated it.  I thought they were trying waaaaaaaaay too hard and it was just super cheesy for me.  This is coming from someone who worshipped the series and really enjoyed the first movie.  I thought this one was just lame...I had really high hopes.  :(

    I saw it last night as well. I liked parts of it, but I did not love it. It did seem long and I was waiting for it to end at one point. For the most part the story line was boring and predictable. I could have waited for the DVD to come out. 
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    My mom is after me to go but I'm not feeling it.  I agree that it's been made to make a quick buck.  The previews just look too unbelievable to me.  I mean who the hell wears Halston while riding camels on a desert vacation?

    I didn't enjoy it that much either. There were some parts that were funny, but I definitely enjoyed the first one more.

    i liked the series, and thought the first movie was alright... the previews for SATC 2, IMO, look just awful, and I would honestly only see it in the theater if someone else was buying.

    We'll wait for it to come out on DVD and redbox it.
