Just wanted to write a quick hello and share a little bit of our story. ?I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant after TTC for three years and three months. ?After targeted TTC for about 9 months, my husband and I began fertility testing back in 2006. ?An HSG revealed that I had a completely blocked left fallopian tube. ?I had laproscopic surgery that fall, during which the doctor discovered that I had some endometriosis that had caught the left tube and pulled it downward, adhering it to my intestines. ?He didn't think he could save the tube without risking injury to my intestines, so he removed it.
?After the surgery, we underwent 5 medicated cycles, with no success. ?I also hated what all the hormones were doing to me, emotionally and physically, so we never tried another medicated cycle after April of 2007. ?
We were always open to adoption, and we finally decided it was time to start building our family that way. ?I made plans to quit my high-stress job (my husband and I are both lawyers), and we prepared for me to be a homemaker and expectant adoptive mom. ?My husband kept saying, though, that he wasn't so sure that I wouldn't get pregnant once I quit work. ?We decided we'd also pray a special Novena that I would get pregnant. ?
Needless to say, we were surprised and beyond thrilled to find out back in January that I'm pregnant. ?It truly feels like a miracle, and it's certainly an answer to prayer. ?We found out last Monday that we're having a little boy.?
Wishing all of you all the best during your pregnancies!?

Congrats! What a wonderful pg story. It feels like such an unbelievable blessing when you have to wait for it to happen.
We were TTC for 1 year and having no luck. I was waiting for my pd to come so I could schedule my HSG but that pd never came - we got pg on lucky cycle 13!
Congrats and welcome!!
PS - you'll need to get yourself a ticker...

congratulations!!!!
My DH and I TTC'd for 2 years before conceiving our DD through IUI. She was born in July of 08 and I am now 16 weeks along with our #2. The second child was conceived naturally and was quite a shock. After trying so hard to have our first, sex became a chore and not a pleasure. After being blessed with DD, birth control methods never even crossed our minds. Guess we were wrong.
DH makes jokes that DD was inside me fixing all the problems before she was born!
Good Luck with everything
