Deadbeat was served today

I'm completely numb about it. I'm trying to see the legal/paperwork aspect of it as nothing more than advocating for DS. Deadbeat* is the one who made the decision to walk out on his wife and child because he couldn't handle the responsibility. Helll, he couldn't even handle the responsibility of filing for divorce even though it was his idea.

*I prefer writing it out. It's just so dang fitting. The abbreviation doesn't do the term justice.

    I love that you want to spell it out lol! We take DB as douche bag anyways, so deadbeat is a much more specific term for your X!

    I am sorry. It was a tough day for me when my STBXH was served (although I had my Mom do it while he was there). My STBXH left 6 months ago and wouldn't do any of the work in filing the divorce, so I had to do it. Each time a step is taken it is hard for me. I knew a long time ago that it was over but each time another step is made it is hard.
