I know that some people try the POM. pineapple core and green tea to help TTC but when I googled these things nothing came up even suggesting that these had any links to the TTC purpose that has been stated on here. I was just wondering where this info was coming from? Thanks ladies!
I heart Ben!!

Re: POM, pineapple core and green tea ?
I drink green tea regularly but usually alternate between green and black. After lurking and posting for a while now I decided this cycle to switch to green tea only from CD1-O. I'm also on bottle #2 of POM juice. I also have the core of a pineapple in my freezer since I didn't want it the other week when I sliced it up.
I don't know if all of this works or not yet, but should this be the month of the BFP or the month of early O, I'll be sure to fill you in!
From: https://www.babyhopes.com/articles/greentea.html
In the past, women having difficulty conceiving might have been advised to limit their caffeine intake. But recent studies suggesting that stimulating drinks, and specifically green tea, might boost fertility. In a study conducted at Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program of Northern California in Oakland, researchers found that women who drank more than one half cup of caffeinated green tea every day doubled their odds of conceiving. No significant association was found for other caffeinated beverages; therefore researchers concluded that a chemical component of tea other than caffeine might have been responsible for the increase in fertility.
There was a lot more out there too. This is the first I came across from a website I've take info from before.

That's the one I couldn't find, either. I saw a bunch of articles about how pomegranates are symbols of fertility, which I don't really think is a compelling argument. And, I saw several articles related to male fertility and pom juice. I never found anything related to female fertility, though.
I dunno. Maybe I'll just finish the juice I have and then stop drinking it. It's expensive!
This! But since I'm in a good mood
Green Tea - 1-2 cups from AF to O, helps increase EWCM, do not drink within 4 hours of your prenatal because it inhibits the absorbtion of folic acid, do not take after O because it can cause uterine contractions that can be negative for implantation
POM - 8oz (at least) of real pom juice, some drink POM brand some drink blends, make sure that pomagranite juice is one of the first ingredients, it thickens the lining of the uterus to help with implantation. You can drink through your cycle but some think it's gross and don't do past ovulation by then it's done what it's going to do. If it works in thickening the lining and implantation does not occur your period can be quite heavy (mine are anyway)
Pineapple Core - the enzyme Bromelain is said to help with implantation. Cut the core into 5 sections and eat one piece days 1-5dpo. Some make it into a smoothie. It's not the most flavorful thing but I just eat it straight because I can't be bothered with a blender in the AM
Thank you for laying all of this out but I am asking where did this info come from. I can find the stuff about the green tea on-line but when I googled POM it is only mentioned in aiding male fertility. As for the pineappple core, every google link I found took me to another message board where people were recommending it. I was just curious if anyone knew the original source of these suggestions for aiding in conception. I think it is funny, they are starting to sound like urban legends almost. Not that I am above trying them. I started my POM juice today.

The information has come from RE's, OB's and some accupuncturists.
I don't believe anyone has actually quoted an article from the Mayo clinic or anything like that.
I'm not to concerned about where it came from since the amount of ewcm and the heaviness of my period leads me to believe that POM and Green Tea are the truth.
I have yet to find an actual scientific study on pineapple core (doesn't mean it's not there). The idea behind it though its that its an enzyme that breaks down proteins that may inhibit implantation.
If it won't hurt me and might just by chance increase our chances, I'm in like sin.
