crap!! tell me i didn't ruin this diaper!

i just got a used pocket diaper and didn't know it at the time of purchase but the velcro strip on the front of the diaper was missing some stitching...

so i just resewed it down w/o sewing it into the liner, but now i just realized that the whole strip wasn't sewn on the way i just did it... as in i punctured the pul by resewing it.....

is this diaper ruined now??  please tell me it's not!  how else could i have fixed it with out taking the entire diaper apart?

  • stick it in the dryer & then use with caution.

  • Next time you may want to convert to snaps. But for now just throw it in the dryer and use it at home. :-)

As long as you used 100% polyester thread you shouldn't have any issues after a wash and dry cycle (machine dry to seal the PUL)

If you used something other than polyester thread you may get a little wicking in that spot.
