I saw in a post below that you love your pedi, Dr. Mesch. We were using Dr. Burns and ABSOLUTELY LOVED her but she retired last month. She was very attentive to DS and didn't just ignore him and talk to us. She was also understanding with our vaccine requests (beleive in giving all vaccines just don't beleive little bodies should get six vaccines at one time). We loved everything about her. Of course, as soon as we said we were expecting another one she cringed and said she had something she needed to tell us. I was devastated!
So just out of curiousity what is Dr. Mesch like or what do you like so much about her? TIA

Dr Mesch is awesome! I like that she's young-ish (late 30's?), she has twins that are about 8 years old, so she understands what it's like to parent young kids today. So much has changed in the last 10-20-30 years, that I didn't want a pedi that had kids 30 years ago, applying that advice to my newborn, ya know?
Re Vacs: We are skipping chicken pox, and delayed MMR from 12 months to 18 months, and we don't do flu or swine flu vacs. Dr Mesch had full conversations with us about each of them, gave us the information we asked for, and didn't pressure us either way.
She's very attentive and remembers us every time. My DD has a tough time with gaining weight, and she has kept on top of that, but also kept me informed along the way, so I didn't stress out too much about it.
Also she's always on time, there's only been one appt so far where she was about 15 minutes late.
And her nurse is REALLY funny and sweet, which I like, because we spend a lot of time talking to the nurse.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
