You know, the ones who are at the doctor's office every 2 weeks. Yep, that is what we have become. The sad part is that DH doesn't go since I am still on leave (at least until next Tuesday), so I am the one who gets all the fun. I just hate this because he has certain questions he wants asked, and I don't seem to "push enough to get good answers."
I need to just get over feeling like I am being judged for bringing him in all the time. I can't help it that he had jaundice, reflux, and now he sleeps a lot and doesn't want to eat. And him starting to not take a bottle isn't an option since I start back to work and he will be at daycare.
So I made yet another appointment for tomorrow. I know I am trying to do the best for my baby, and if that makes me feel like they think I am a hypochondriac, so be it. Mind you, no one has said this to me, this is just how I feel. I guess I have a huge chip on my shoulder.

Re: Uh-oh, we are "those" parents...
Don't worry about it. I felt like I was always at the doctor with Avery (granted she was rashy) for one thing or another. They shouldn't make you feel like you are being judged and if they are making you feel that way, then they suck.
I think you are just being a normal Mom.

So Tasty, So Yummy
You're doing what's best for your baby and I agree with V- it's always better safe than sorry and I am sure your pedi would rather you be there all the time then miss something.
I feel like I call too much. Our pedi is really great about answering my question on the spot when I call (instead of the nurse calling me back an hour later or something) so I call practically every week with some question or another. So in a way, I too am that parent and I don't care one bit. I could care less if they laugh at me or call me names, so long as my child is healthy and I have peace of mind.
LOL! I tld the doctor I am a Type A personality and there is nothing I can do about it. :-)

Well, I've taken Elena 4 times to the pediatrician in 2 months because her thrush reappears. What can I do? I follow the pediatrician instructions to the letter, and the darn thing always come back.
If you've done everything you're supposed to do, there's no reason to feel bad.
