Water gag

I work at an elementary school and we have field day tomorrow... in 87 degree heat.  How the heck am I supposed to stay hydrated and not pass out?  I'm going to need my own little cooler.

I've been having headaches, fatigue, and dizziness/shortness of breath all day.  I'm pretty sure it's because of the heat in my room - it's 80 degrees just inside my room.  I've also only peed once since getting here at 7 a.m. (it's now 2).

I'm trying to drink as much as possible, but the taste of water is starting to make me gag.  I don't want it!

Re: Water gag

  • Put some lemon slices in the water.  That usually seems to help me.

  • Uuuuggggh! Water gag is THE worst. Maybe take some juice along in a thermos? Good luck! (I wish I could take my high school kids on a field trip... We could definitely use the time out of the classroom right about now!)

  • I thought it was just me with the whole water gag thing. It makes me feel sloshy lately. It is the hardest sensation to describe. I tried Pellagrino yesterday and fell inlove. Not too fizzy but the perfect amount. I am also on Gatorade to try and rehydrate after my multiple trips to the toilette this morning. I haven't booted this much since I was a teenager learning to drink..........hahaha
