My son will NOT nurse and is teething like crazy. I want to help him but I don't want to give him Tylenol. What do you recommend/do? Him not nursing is bad enough, but him in pain is awful!
P.S. I've been a lurker for a long time so I'm sorry I haven't formally introduced myself.

Re: HELP! Need advice on a natural teething remedy!
Amber teething necklace hands down!
inspiredbyfinn.com -- We love ours
We give our LO Humphrey's Teething Relief Swift Strips...you place it on their tongue and it dissolves instantly. It has the same ingredients as the Highland's tablets minus lactose and I find that they are WAY easier to administer. DD loves them and they work really well.
She also wears an amber necklace that I got from an Etsy seller who lives around the corner from me so I could pick it up the same day (I was desperate).
I've also taken a momsicle (aka frozen BM) and wrapped in a soft washcloth (the finer terry ones that are used for infants) and knotted it and let DD gnaw in it. She liked it, for the most part. She also LOVES to chew on her Sophie the Giraffe.
