That it is off limits. I am so bummed/worried. I hope everything is alright. It was the only thing that was keeping my morning sickness away. I cannot believe I can't eat it for the remainder of this pregnancy. I'm craving it
You're fine. You are only supposed to avoid it because its not cooked with heat and has a higher risk of food poisoning. If you haven't gotten sick yet, you probably won't.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...
"It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" - A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
Can you eat it cooked? Like in an omlette? Then it will be fine.
"Little seahorse/Floating on a primal tide/Quickening like a/Spark in a haystack side/I already love you/And I don't even know who you are" -Bruce Cockburn

I am sure you are find. However I think I am steering clear of all seafood right now given the oil spill. There is no telling we they are importing their stuff.

Just a FYI, salmon live in northern waters. The gulf and surrounding rivers are too warm for them to live/spawn.

It's fine. We all do things before we know we're pregnant like eat sushi and drink too much wine. The blood supply isn't shared until around 8 weeks anyway, if I remember.
I ate it too. A few times. I thought smoked made it ok. Yep, I'm dumb. I think our generation knows too much about what we can and can't eat anyway. I bet my mom ate all this yummy stuff like salami and lox all the time when she was preggers w/ me and I'm fine. We know too much and I find it annoying.
Re: So, I ate smoked salmon 3 times within 24 hours when I realized...
I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thanks for the info, I did not know this.

I believe it's 6 weeks.
Regardless, like pp's have said, if you haven't gotten sick yet, you probably won't.
