I need your help! I can't remember what the dr said

I can't remember if the dr told me when to get my blood drawn. I know its 21 days but do I count 21 days from the day I started or 21 days after I started.

I started on May 3rd. Do I go tomorrow or Monday?

Its all too confusing!

Also, it's not CD21 that you need it drawn (I'm assuming you're talking progesterone) - it's 7dpo. That doesn't always coincide with CD21

YOu all have me more confused now.. First my ticker is so off and I havent figured out how to remove it.

Second my dr is closed to day and I have no way of getting a hold of her.

I took provera to get af and then clomid on 5-9 she told me to have my blood drawn on day 21. So seeing i started on 5-3 sould I go on the 23 or 24th.

I don't know if I O'd, She told me that this would check to see if I did.

(sigh)

Clomid doesn't necessarily make you ovulate on CD14.

The reason your doctor asked you to get b/w on CD21 is because she is assuming you will O on CD14. You get progesterone done at 7DPO to confirm ovulation. (sometimes doctors will draw blood before you ovulate just to see what your P4 levels are like beforehand; mine did).

You should have been having ultrasounds to determine this. Do not take meds with this moron of a doctor again.

Pray for your own sake that you didn't produce a ton of mature follices. Clomid is not candy.

if you need to be on fertility drugs, then you need to be proactive in your care and make sure you are having the proper monitoring. you needed CD3 bloodwork and ultrasound. And Follow up b/w and u/s after completing clomid - usually around CD10 - CD13. To see if you responded to the treatment, didn't respond. responded too well and have too many mature follies (I know a few girls who responded too well and had to cancell IUI's or convert to IVF because they had more than 5 mature eggs).

How's your lining? Oh wait... you don't know cuz you didn't get the proper care. Clomid is notorious for also thinning your uterine lining making it near impossible to get pregnant.
